Skillshare automatically charged me $96 for a yearly memebership when my three month 99 cent trial expired. I informed them a few days prior on their online page that I did not want it renewed.
It all happened today. They put through the charge for the membership today.
I informed them I wanted to cancel the memebership. I got an email from them that my membership would be canceled one year from today. I have since gone online and found out that this company has many consumer complaints which are all similar to my own. I found their address and phone number online and am including a photo of the info.
I also filed a complaint to the Dept of State Division of Consumer Protection for the State of New York. Every dissatisfied and ripped off consumer should do the same. I also spoke with my bank. They have a Dispute Department and are going to help me to get my money back.
So everyone should contact their bank if they used a debit card or their credit card company if they used a credit card. THIS COMPANY MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!!
